QDI purchased the Spageddies brand from Brinker International in the 1980s and then created our own concept, Papa Vino's, from there. Harry Anderson - Executive Chef
Harry Anderson is the Corporate Chef for Quality Dining, Inc, primarily overseeing culinary operations at Papa Vino’s Italian Kitchen. Chef Anderson attended The Culinary School of Kendall College, apprenticed at Ambria Restaurant and was employed at Lettuce Entertain You in Chicago prior to joining the culinary team at Quality Dining. Originally from Chicago, Chef Anderson began cooking in professional kitchens at the age of 18. He has worked in several restaurant concepts including simple American Cuisine, Regional Italian and Modern Day French. He joined the Quality Dining family in 1996. One of his many claims to fame is the recipe for Papa Vino’s proprietary Sweet Basil Vinaigrette salad dressing, used on our signature Papa’s Salad. In his current role, he is responsible for menu development, product research and overall kitchen operations at Papa Vino’s.
“We run our kitchen with a guest-centered mentality,” Anderson said. “Just about everything on our menu is made to order, taking into account food allergies and personal preferences specific to each guest we serve. We take a lot of pride in that."
Chef Anderson lives in Mishawaka with his wife. He has two adult children.
